About Electrotap, L.L.C. Electrotap is a partnership founded by Jesse Allison and Timothy Place based in Kansas City, USA . Originally an academic venture at the University of Missouri, Kansas City, Electrotap struck out as a private enterprise in 2004 to “provide the research and development resources to create innovative technology for the arts”. Electrotap’s mission is still very much in keeping with the original academic spirit: “we continue to encourage collaboration with other partners, composers, and developers – providing a potential outlet for creative work that is not available elsewhere.” For more information, visit: http://www.electrotap.com/
